★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great braised duck - not too salty and not "sweet" like the regular Singaporean fare. The duck liver and gizzard wasn't bad either. Place is clean and parking is easy with a public lot just nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered kway chap . Portion was very small. Ordered an egg, but only have a quarter. Intestines were too tough, overcooked.
Ordered fish cake, only gave a few small thin slices.
Not coming back for kway chap at this stall.
Too commercial, only cared about profiteering from customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Braised rice tasted dry and not fragrant. Duck is dry. Portion is small. Not good value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m used to eating from the Yu Kee franchise/branch outlets and have found quality to be relatively consistent and good.
As my first visit, I notice a difference in the meat quality. It is nice and fatty and served in thicker unflattened pieces. However, I thought that the rice was less flavourful and merely salty. The sweet and sour (or Thai style) chilli that I’m used to from the branch outlets was not available here. At this outlet, it is more of a chilli+vinegar mix which I didn’t like. It was not served with salted vegetables as well.
Will likely visit again to try other items. Hopefully I’ll get to try the soup during my next visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have closed down their main branch. And converted to this stall within a coffeeshop. Food is unlike before. Rice is hard, nothing special. Authentic taste as per earlier pictures are no more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Average braised duck, pork and offal shop that sells rice, noodles and kway chap. The herbal aroma from the soup is definitely getting fainter. Overheard a staff lamenting that prices of ginseng had gone up 30%. I normally eat kway chap or dry duck noodles. For sure I have tried better and more succulent braised dishes, but the dishes from this shop are considered happily edible, and staff are efficient and helpful. Will continue to support neighbourhood shops!
