Pretty decent wtm. Noodle cooked to perfection with chicken stock and the char siew has a good fat to meat ratio. Prawn dumpling was a disappointing but none the less quite a good plate of wtm

Get the premiuem char siew. Very fatty char siew that melts in your melt and screaming for another serving. Quene may be long but is fast moving. Even though some might feel too expensive for a hawker char siew

Ordered the premium wonton noodles for $6, a dollar more than normal. But the portion is the same except that premium comes with evenly spread roasted meat that the chef highlighted. Roast meat was tasty with a tinge of sugar coating on its burnt side. Noodles were just simply taste, minus a star for his dumplings, not to my liking as compared to others.

Nice, melt in your mouth charsiew. Take the premium wanton mee. The charsiew is not very charred but melts away. Noodles are okay. Always expect a long Q at this place. At $6 a plate, I think it is reasonable priced for the quality of meat. You can also just buy back the premium charsiew.

You will realize this food stall is always long queue even non peak hours. Yes. This stall was very popular and famous of their CharSiew meat (grilled pork) in their wanton noodle. Agreed that their CharSiew is wonderful thick n tender, sweet with caramelized aroma. The owner uncle was originally migrated from HongKong, this is his very hongky roast or grill meat recipes. And owner has been featured on local TV food programs for few time. Pretty good that you can taste the half lean half fat pork meat, cut in quite a thick pieces like what you tried in HongKong. And their noodle is not special when the first bites, but after few more bites, you will realize some aroma from the soup base they poured before they serve it that make the noodle have that attractive after taste, probably that soup have the Pork lard ingredients as their secret recipe. Overall, I loved their Wantan noodles, but just a bit pricey, $5/plate for small, and they used to serve big portion at $7 (I think) but it seem customer also felt too expensive for a plate of Wantan Mee. So now just serve standard portion at $5/plate. But most of the noodle stall just sell at $3/plate. Regarding the 不见天叉烧 their premium CharSiew, you can forget it, not much different as the normal one, unless you really like to have more fat n thick piece of meat. The extra fat does give you more punch of that meat aroma and fragrance. But $6 & $12 per service is too expensive (for me) Not many time I will try this stall unless their queue is shorter. But which that is not happen so often. Very good business, so need some patience if you like to try it. ?

Used to order their Wanton mee when I am staying around this area more than 10 years ago but definitely much cheaper than now. . If u don't mind paying a bit more for a good plate of Wanton mee, this is a worth a try. . Premium Wanton Noodle 不见天叉烧 ($7.00) I love how springy their noodles are and their char siew has a good ratio of meat and fats inside with slightly charred outside. . Wonton noodles $5, with springy noodles dressed in light sauce and oil. The char siew portion although quite small, they were tender and well seasoned. The chilli looks mean spicy is actually quite mild and does lift the dish’s taste. Overall an above average plate and worth a try. There seems to be a perpetual queue, so hopefully will try the premium version next visit.

Tried this on our second visit to Tiong Bahru market since it was dubbed as a popular and nice wanton store by many others. We were the last in the queue to receive our dishes, as they have ran out of char siew and are closing for the day (super lucky ?).. The wanton soup consists of 6 wanton in total, pretty generous in quantity, and the filings were great too! Taste wise, it was okay, nothing to shout about. Charsiew was pretty tender, had a strong charred taste to some of those which adds to the smokiness of the dish ?? Last but not least, the noodle in itself was tender and qq, though I didn’t quite like the sauce (could have came from the chilli too) that comes with it since it has a touch of pork lard which made the feel of it unhealthy. All in all, despite the long queue, it was a fairly decent bowl of wanton noodle to be had if you are in the market.
