Quick and efficient inner tube replacement for my kid's bike. Reasonable price.

Poor customer service. I went to fix the front wheel alignment of my cycle today and another boy also went to fix his cycle for the same issue. The boy had to pay $5 for his cycle for the alignment of his cycle wheel. After they finished fixing his cycle they proceeded to fix mine. After that was done, they said I had to pay $10. My mother and I understood that it may have been a small amount but she was curious why we were charged differently from the previous customer (the boy) and asked the lady boss about it while paying. When the boss went to ask the repairmen, one of them started getting aggressive and behaved rudely with my mother. He started calling us 'stingy' and said we should go to another cycle shop next time. He also got offended that we had not acknowledged the 'extra effort' they put into our cycle. My mother tried to tell him we understood that we had to pay for the service we had asked but he did not have to overreact and treat her so badly for asking a simple question. I was very disappointed from this service and am shocked with the type of people they keep in hire. Are we as customers not allowed to ask what is going on without getting insulted upon? Reply: Do not twist my mother's words to protect your mechanic. Did we have a chance to thank the mechanic when he was busy scolding us, shooing us to go to another shop next time? And why will we thank him if he makes such rude comments to us, disrespecting my mother in public like that. He even proceeded to tell my mother that he will say as he wanted and challenged her about what she could do about it. I am surprised at what kind of discipline you have set-up for your business.

Great ppl. They saw me coming with a flat and quickly assisted me and got to work without wasting any time. 10 bucks for an inner tube. Quick service. Was infact closer to another shop when I got the flat , but the reviews were discouraging and I was in no state to argue or haggle, if things had to go wrong there. So decided to take a longer hike all the way to AK and wasn’t disappointed !

Looking through past reviews, and from my experience (described below), I think the shop is usually ok - gets the job done and reasonably priced, but woe betide you if things go wrong. Overall, would recommend against coming here, esp. when there's a much nicer uncle in a bike shop nearby near Ayer Rajah market. I went because my tyre couldn't be pumped - he said I needed to replace my tube and quoted a very reasonable price for it - I agreed - he changed the tube and was about to put the tyre back on the bike, but I asked to check it first, which was lucky as it turned out the new tube couldn't be pumped either - he said it must be a problem with my pump - I tried the pump on my other tyre and it worked fine - he just shrugged and didn't even bother trying to solve the problem, while asking me to pay for the tube replacement anyway. I refused to since the new tube didn't solve my problem, nor had he made any further attempts to solve it. Then he started shouting obscenities, claiming I was not respecting his labour - I gave back as good as I got. Finally, he took apart the tyre to retrieve his new tube and left it for me to put back myself (see photo). In short, he diagnosed the problem wrongly, didn't even try to solve it, still asked to be paid, and when I refused, left me with additional work to put the bike back together and traded insults with me. Not cool...

As usual great sevice. Helped to identify why my metal rotar was scratching the brake. Changed and fixed it. 2nd time going there for bicycle issues because they are honest and wont try to hard sell you.

Quite disappointed the service from this shop to do full service on MTB, 1) rear shifter not working after your "full service" upon collection and test ride, mechanic had replaced with new shifter cable without informing about it and he proceed to the counter lady to add on another $20 for the shift cable. so I have to pay for it without knowing why it was not working after your full servicing. 2) FR issue is tuned and is better than previous due to alignment issue that grinding the cage 3) Chain replaced as mechanic advised, but too much slack that i feel chain drop is anytime. I assumed mechanic should help to shorten the length? 4) Bleeding for the brake, like just re-bleed without testing. overall experience quite disappointed, chosen this shop based on your google good review but never know it was a disappointment in the service. Please get your mechanic to test the bike after their servicing before asking the customer to go down and collect. make no sense that you did a full service for a bike but when the customer went down to collect they found out that the shifter cable is not working and have to be there to wait for another 30mins to replace the cable.

I have a Giant road bike and it was making some sound on the front derailleur. Within one-two days it was done servicing. Excellent service by the uncle, reasonably priced, I get the body and drivetrain cleaned as well. The uncle and the lady are friendly and sharing some maintenance tips. So glad that I found a nice bike shop nearby my place as there are not a lot of bike shops in Clementi area.

Your typical local bike shop, old timers fixing your bike for you means you have a piece of mind. The way they handle and test ride your bike shows their years of experience by them riding. Had some issues with my front derailleur alignment and they got it fixed for me in about 30mins. Very reasonable pricing, will be back for my next full overhaul servicing ??
