★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Previously had a great experience with the Animal arts academy at Serangoon Gardens. Decided to try my luck at a different branch in May 2018, and gave instructions to the groomer to cut half an inch of his hair. I am not too sure if we ever got the same dog back. Below are two pictures of him before and after, and you can clearly see that my poor sheltie was shaved.
However, I’m thankful for the cute collar accessory my dog received.

The staff told us grooming will take about 4 hours. Close to that, they called again saying they need another 2 hours.
When we reached the shop, they said they needed another hour, which we found it funny so we said stop whatever you are doing and bring us our dog.
When our dog came out, it was a total disaster.
We gave specific instruction to cut about 1cm, not shave the entire body.
We then asked why it turned out to be like that, they kept quiet and said will give us discount?
Nobody want your extra discount for doing a lousy job, never gonna go back there ever again..
Please think twice, their service and quality sucks

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We specifically instructed the groomer to leave 1 inch of hair, and we ended up with my poor dog being shaved. In fact, even at the counter, the groomer confirmed with us to leave 1 inch of hair, and showed us with her fingers. Upon picking up my dog, I gave them a call and the groomer argued back and insisted she confirmed 1cm. To make matters more infuriating, she said that some owners of shelties have requested to have them shaved, and hence she thought it would not be a problem for us. The numerous times we brought my dog to this exact place, we had no qualms at all with the way he was cut. Meanwhile, this groomer just conveniently shaved my dog instead of giving him a hair cut.
