Dell Exclusive Store Funan

Poor customer service. Totally ignore you. Cant be bothered to answer your questions. Overheard the staff shouting in their pantry room, ‘yeah knock off from my shift already’. Not really interested or passionate about their job!

I went to Dell store after doing my research and shortlisting two models, with the hope that the staff there would be able to answer my questions and guide me towards choosing the right one. But the store guy was the most indifferent salesperson ever who couldn't care less. He didn't have the intent and perhaps not even the knowledge to answer even simple queries. When I asked about a glitch with the camera on the display model, he simply said that if I have a problem I can return the laptop within 7 days. He couldn't even answer how big and heavy is the power adapter! So in the end I left the store without buying one of the laptops which I fully intended to buy.

Trust me. You must visit this one and only DELL physical store this side of the world before you buy any notebook pc. Dell or otherwise. We must have walked 10km or more around Funan, Bugis and Sim Lim Square. Over a few weeks. Got smoked by at least 20 sales staffs knowing next to nothing about REAL computer usage. In fact only on our third visit did we were served by a William Tay. And wow. This guy is an homage to Michael Dell. Of course we bought

Wanted to buy a gaming monitor for my nephew but I am a noob. So glad Xin Hui took the time to explain the features and recommended a monitor with specs that matched my nephew's graphic card. Excellent service!

I had a similar experience as Samant and Deema posted below. I visited Dell Funan on 5 Feb 2022 intending to know more about the Dell XPS desktop. Before I visited the store I had visited the Dell website to read about the specs of the new XPS desktop but I needed to confirm certain information which was not available on their website before I place my order. On that day, I approached a male bald headed sales staff who showed a totally indifferent and could not care less. He was also totally not familiar with his product. When I wanted to clarify certain information about the XPS desktop he simply told me that they are the same as the previous XPS model. He also displayed an impatient and rude attitude when he said that. When I pointed out to him that the specs available on the internet shows that the specs of the new model was different, he simply brushed it off. I do not expect to be treated like a king by any sales staff but I certainly dop not deserve to be treated with this indifferent, impatient and rude attitude. I immediately walked out of the store and telling myself that I will never buy a Dell product again. When I read the reviews of Samant and Deema below, I totally understand how they felt. Dell has a long way to go with their sales staff training.

Excellent customer service and after service support from Kah wee of Funan Dell. Not only did he answered my queries on the laptop specifications, he went the extra mile by helping us to expedite the delivery date to bring forward to a few days earlier than the expected date. He also sent me email with receipts for me to claim the mall's points system. A hidden gem in the IT store. Keep it up. Thanks Kah Wee for your wonderful 5-star service.
