★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Newly opened penyet restaurants, food was good. Staff were friendly and menu is very specific to penyet alone. The area is not very big but its fair about 10-15 pax 1 time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the Smashed Chicken, like the crusty skin, but the meat inside is a tad too dry for my liking. Grilled Marinated Pomfret Fish, the sweet savoury marinate is very nice. Would like more of it actually. Fish meat is firm on bite, hence you know it's quite fresh a fish still. But the size of the fish is quite small, so it makes it pretty expensive. The tempeh is mediocre and small. I like the fried beancurd though, crispy exterior with soft moist interior. Might try their tauhu telor next time. Tried both level 3 and 4 chilli (served on the side). Level 3 is sweet spicy which i enjoyed. Level 4 really has that strong kick of spiciness that comes with a slight bitter aftertaste sinply because it's really spicy. I think it's good to have the 2 together as they kind of balanced out each other. Had the Cendol Glass jelly drink. Asked for less sugar luckily because it is still quite sweet. The green pandan jelly, is almost bland and a bit too soft for my liking. Service is not bad, waitress patiently explain the dishes to me, but the food need to wait for awhile but not too long either. Overall, food wise, was okay. Will still go back and try their grill mackerel and noodles. But ayam penyet, I think the other outlet within the mall itself is better. Oops! ?
