Duxton Medical Clinic Canberra - #01-03 Sembawang Cres

Very rude and unprofessional receptionist makes my visit very unpleasant and I will never visit again! I went to do health screening and told receptionist about the government Screen For Life program which charges only $2 for blue chas holder. Receptionist acknowledged and registered for me and ask me to wait for my turn. When I was called in, the doctor tried to upsell me some other tests but I rejected. When I went to pay the bill, I was shocked to be charged $95. I clarified why it wasn't $2 instead and I was told because I didn't inform doctor it's for Screen For Life program. Seriously? Is that how you guys try to take advantage on others? After I made my stand firmly then they decided to change my bill to $5 instead. I showed receptionist the government website which clearly states it's $2 for blue chas holder and she argued their company policy is to charge $5. Therefore I paid $5 and told them I will clarify with the authorities why it was different from the charges stated in website. As I walked out of the clinic, they quickly called me to say they had made a mistake and will refund me $3. While it is only a small amount, why make things so difficult and only give in when they fear we will contact the authorities.

Dr Ho was incredibly patient and helpful during my consultation. He was genuine in wanting to know more about my medical issue I was experiencing, none of the patronising talk that some other GPs may give. even greeted me very warmly and sincerely when I stepped into the room. It's very hard to find a good doctor like him. Receptionist was also equally as friendly. Thank you so much!

Dr Ho Hua Shen is by far the best doctor we ever encounter. Very polite and explained everything in detailed. Bring in my parents to the panel doctor around our area for my father's Eldershield claim as he needs assistance in everything that he do on a daily basis. Recommended Dr Ho as he is such a nice DR and understand it well. As not Panel Doctor that is listed in NTUC list knows how to go about this Eldershield Claim. Two Thumbs Up to Duxton Clinic! Also the Malay lady who is the Clinic Assistant is really nice! She is very helpful and attentive. Keep it up Duxton Clinic!

Amazing experience with both doctors. Been there regularly for over a year for my child and they are so polite and kind, doing meticulous checks each time and being very reassuring. Highly recommend.

just that I thought there's not a single good clinic around me I went into duxton medical clinic as my last hope I m so happy , I finally found a clinic that's really help and understand patients thumbs up for the receptionist Dr Ho is so patien, nice and caring thank you for making this happen ?

Went to this clinic as my usual clinic was overbooked. Turned out to be an extremely pleasant experience. Dr Ho Hua Shen was stellar, trustworthy and caring - exceptionally patient and thorough in explaining the diagnosis and taking my questions. The receptionist was a real joy as well. She was understanding and friendly. Will be my to-go clinic in future.
