May 2019. A true HK style roast stall with great attitude. The serving team seemed to know everyone in the queue in front of me. I ordered a wanton char siew noodle at $3.50. The noodle was done at the right crisp. The wanton was not the best in this food centre; but the char siew was. A HK flair with burnt dark exterior, sweet roast meat blended well with its sauce. One could opt for fattier meat if he had a strong heart. The chilli had a high salt content, a note to health conscious people :)

The roast pork here anytime better than nearby shops here. The pork lard is free for customer to add. Most importantly, it tastes extremely good, at this price point of 4 bucks. Perfectly al dente. Has the makings of Mak's noodles.

Noodles were springy and tasty. Char siew was roasted nicely, tender and a little sweet. Note: they charged extra 50c for additional chilli sauce

The noodles were very tasty and I don’t mind just eating it without anything else. The wantons were great too. However, I found the roasted meats (BBQ pork 叉烧 and pork belly 烧肉) too dry. Despite the poor reviews, there is always a long queue.

Well, it is 2 still days to CNY, the store charged 1$ extra for most items. I waited for 15mins, and ordered a char siew/roast pork noodle, plus extra noodle to share with my boy. I reached out to get a small ball for him; the store owner snatched it back instantly, lecturing and scolding me no extra bowl is allowed!!! I explained, I need it for my child to share. Both owners insisted NO BOWL to spare. The food is just average. With such bad customer service, I am not going back for sure.

Overrated! I queue because of long queue! Was tremendous disappointed waiting 30 mins in the queue. I ordered a plate of combo roasted pork and char siu and a bowl of wanton soup. The roasted pork was not crispy and tasted of porky smell and the burnt charsiu was too artificial sweet. The wanton is of too starchy (too much starch added to the meat) . Was wondering the reason of the queue with such standards, well it was 6th day of CNY and most of the “must eat” stalls in AV were closed .

The cheated feeling I had …. Having waited 30 minutes in the queue , the taste of food was no where I could comment - charsiu too sweet , roasted pork was too porky taste and soggy. The wanton filling was too starchy. Tried to reason why there was queue for such standard - most stalls were not open yet during CNY!

The noodles are HK style, taste not bad when hot. My daughter commented taste has change to fishy smell when take away. Service is super bad, as owner will not provide extra bowl or cutlery if you wish to share the food with your loved ones
