I very much like the designs in the store so itโ€™s a match for me! May be plain for other but the staff was very helpful while not hovering while I made my selections

I love this place quite a fair bit. It's minimalist fashion + good cafe combined in an enclosed space. Twelve cupcakes partnered with a local fashion designer, to create this space, and they now offer a wide variety of food types, in the midst of good fashion. Worth a visit definitely, and definitely a good place to chill and meet friends in town.

Coffee is really good! But I came in at 10:45am without knowing the shop opens at 11am. The reply was "we are not open yet." without smile or anything. It was obvious they were annoyed with me. When I went back at 11am and asked if they are ready, they were like .. ok. with annoyed faces.. Is this normal in Singapore??

I am a frequent shopper with IGC. I was satisfied with the customer service I experienced at the Jewel outlet but I can't say the same for the one at ION. This isn't the first time I have felt dissatisfaction with your front-facing people at ION, but my experience last weekend felt bad enough to make me spend time on writing a bad review. I've always felt that the service folks at the ION outlet are a bit standoffish, a feeling I am glad I did not feel when I shopped at the Jewel outlet. October was my birthday month and I wanted to see what I can possibly get at IGC. I selected a dress and was preparing for payment. I then asked the female service staff about the frequent shopper perks that I might receive for purchasing an apparel during my birthday month. I can't remember her answer but I managed to get a discount for my purchase. I then went on to ask about points accumulation, what I can do with those points, and how many points I have at present. She didn't get my questions the first time, and my spouse and I tried a couple more times. Eventually, her response was that her system can't do such checks, I have to log in into my own account to find out. I'd like to find out if this is true, because if it is, I find that incredulous when SG is pushing its way into a digital economy. I am also bewildered because places like Starbucks are able to quickly tell me how many points I have accrued towards my next free beverage, but a place where I spend way more dollars than a drink can't tell me the points I have? If I have to deal with such lapses, fine, I do like IGC's products. But I draw the line when it is accompanied by bad customer service. If it is true that she can't tell me how many points I have in my account, I think it is fair to say that that causes inconvenience and you have lost whatever brownie points you could have gotten from me in terms of customer experience. I don't know if she is even aware that this is an inconvenience to the customer because her responses were laden with irritation and annoyance. It felt like she didn't concern herself over whether we have gotten the answers we were looking for. That was what I felt. I don't expect you to deliver impeccable customer service, but I sure didn't expect to be given that kind of response. I hope to see an improvement the next time I drop-by at the ION outlet.

Great shopping experience with one of your staff Christine at the Ion branch. Went down to exchange my online purchase for other items. She was very helpful and friendly in offering good alternative suggestions. She also suggested small items to top up the small available balance after I had selected the exchange clothing, which I would have otherwise forfeited.
