International Medical Clinic - Katong - 86-88 E Coast Rd

I wouldn't normally write a review of a doctor's clinic, but I went here after just searching on google and really cannot recommend it, so I am leaving a review so others in my situation don't make the same mistake. I found the bedside manner of the doctor I saw uncaring, and had difficulty understanding the communication from the doctor, which was not something I expected from an international clinic. I would have preferred the doctor put more focus on my symptoms and what I could do to manage them rather than trying to convince me to undertake expensive further tests at the clinic. I wonder if the doctor would even have addressed the issue of my symptoms if I had not prompted at the end of the consultation for some suggestions on what I should to do manage them. I see others have had a similar issue at this clinic. We understand there are restrictions about covid, but the empathy and communication skills I experienced were well below the expectation I would have of a high-end practice. It is also really expensive. $112 for a standard GP appointment. I have edited my initial review as the clinic wrote to me and suggested that I was being offensive by writing a negative review, and reminding me of Singapore's defamation laws.

Love this GP clinic, been going for over 5 years. I've seen Dr Charu, Dr Rebecca and Dr Maria. All are great and take the time to listen. Also I love that you can make an appointment and don't have to wait. Very handy if you have young children. nurses are also lovely!

Wonderful team... very down to earth, reachable , not over prescribing Very happy, will return and recommend to many expats and local friends And they do direct billing to multiple insurance !

This clinic must got the most friendly and caring medical staff in Singapore! It was my best experience after living in this country for 10 years. To be honest, I went to GP for small issues, cold or back pain, other doctors probably just gave me a quick check and didn't want to talk more, then charged me like $50-80 for getting some paracetamol and a MC paper. But here at this clinic, Dr Sundus was so nice and caring, just by talking to her I already felt better. She was very professional, I had a cold and she suggested me to take swab test asap, then helped me to make the appointment. Few days later, my helper went there for a routine medical checkup, she also told me the people there are very nice. In this world, we all need a bit more patience, care and love to other people. I am writing this review just want to give this feedback to my doctor and the clinic: you are great, thanks!

A wonderful recent experience at IMC Katong. I had a Telemedicine for a supervised ART test. The process was really efficient. Dr Rebecca Daly is very knowledgeable, caring and approachable. Thank you all for your wonderful service!

Saw Dr Charu few months ago for infected toe nail and she referred me to a foot clinic. she made the appointment for me and was seen the following day. The experience was smooth..

I visited IMC Katong for my pre-departure tests and since then I have become a returning customer. The service was excellent and the level of professionalism by the staff is a rare catch in Singapore. Keep up the good work! Highly recommended.

Perfect clinic and they have the most friendly and caring staff, i was surprised. Usually we have to face some grumpy people when we are sick and certain doctor don't even explain our health issues properly. IMC Katong from the management to the ground staff are all awesome people, special thanks to Dr Charu who actually listen every detail of my health issue and explain to me everything step by step, giving options on how i can be healthy again. Not forgetting the clinic manager PK who took extra initiative on assisting in taking my blood test and checking if I was doing well. Once again thank you for the wonderful experience and taking care of me.
