β β β β β Decent food at a decent price point. The salmon head miso soup was the most impressive out of all the dishes. We could really taste the freshness of the salmon in the soup alongside a pretty generous portion of salmon. I honestly felt that the shiok maki and grilled skewers werenβt so impressive. The shiok maki had too much sauce such that it overpowered the unagi and salmon. The grilled shitake and pork asparagus were pretty dry too. While the fried tofu with fish skin was nice, it was drenched in too much mayonnaise as well. Feel like the tofu and maki would probably taste better if there was less sauce as the ingredients were actually fresh.

β β β β β This place is most famous for its βShiok Makiβ which most would have heard of, but some of the other menu items are rather nice as well! Would recommend the Tofu, the Japanese Fried Rice, as well as the fried Udon as well. Do be prepared to queue as the queue does stretch back for quite a long while, but waiting time isnβt long as the restaurant now seats customers in areas of the coffeeshop, meaning that there are actually quite a number of seats available.

β β β β β 27 March 2022. Our first time here and we didnβt wait too long to be seated.
Overall I am okay with the food. Surprised with Pitan Tofu (good try! but itβs $5!), the Yaki Udon was alright (wonβt try again), the Beef Rice Bowl was overcooked (I was watching the grilling of the meat and skewers after I have ordered and regretted instantly. Cos they looked all overcooked.). The only 2 that didnβt disappoint me were Shiok Maki Gen 1 & Gen 2!

β β β β β Many sumptuous dishes served at this joint, with a queue that stretches on for a long, long way. The good thing is that the queue also moves rather quickly given that much of the space in the food court is allocated to customers of Koh's.
The food can be rather pricey, but not that much more than Japanese food in general. The Shiok Maki was good, but my personal favourite was the bacon and mushroom sticks.
Would be best to come earlier before the dinner crowd comes in, as the wait can be quite substantial (over an hour).

β β β β β Everyone that comes here knows that the specialty of this restaurant is shiok maki. My absolute favorite is shiok maki gen1 with the eel. Other dishes are great as well like the asparagus wrapped in pork, the swordfish&salmon carpaccio and the gindara yaki. Prepare to wait for extremely long queues at peak hours but it's worth the wait. I think you can't go wrong with pretty much any order. One thing to note though, if the place is overly crowded, as a frequent customer of koh grill, I notice that their food can be lacking a little bit in flavor consistency.

β β β β β Enjoy the shiok maki gen 1 and gen 2! Love the sauce and combination of sushi. This place will have Long queue during peak hours so go early if you do not want to wait! The hot green tea is also refillable! Drop by if youβre near!!

β β β β β Visited on a Monday evening, thought it might be less crowded but the sushi bar is still packed with people! Five stars for the incredible shiok maki, there are 2 generations (gen 1 is unagi, gen 2 is tempura) and I found myself leaning towards gen 2. Nonetheless, still incredibly shiok. Expect long waiting time, at least itβs worth it! Located at top floor of Wisma, need to go thru food republic to get to the restaurant.

β β β β β GOOD FOOD - BUT NEED TO WAIT LONG
Good food. It would have been alright if the food arrives on time, but it doesnβt. Several times need to wait for food to arrive 30 minutes after ordering, especially the grilled food (which is supposedly their specialty). There were cases where you end up ordering more because the WAIT β¦ IS β¦ JUST β¦ TOO β¦ LONGβ¦ Even though the WAIT WAS TOO LONG, the waitresses would not want to seat you because of their policy that everyone needs to be around.
