Went to Mister Minit to change my watch battery today. The service guy is not skillful, he can't open the watch at first and the tool was slipped twice. It left a long scratch on the back of my watch. I told the service guy that there is a long scratch after he changed the battery. He insisted that it was there before he changed. The scratch looks new and it is not possible for me to make a such long scratch without sharp tool at the back of the watch. Really a bad experience!

I’ve been taking my chanel bags / Ferragamo shoes for cleaning at Holland V mister minit. Rates are extremely reasonable. Hugo and Mj are very helpful and gives excellent advice. I’m very satisfied with the services.

Steve from the Service Team is very helpful. I shared with him the complicated keys I want to duplicate. Also, one locksmith ever tried 3 times but have to refund me as the duplicated key simply won't work. He recommended Hugo at Holland Village outlet. Hugo is really experienced. All 3 keys are perfect and done in 15 mins???.

Disappointing. Gluing and sewing was $30, more expensive than just gluing ($20) but was supposed to be sturdier and faster (30 min). Staff called after 15 min to collect, the result was rough and unsightly, and top of my shoes was "mishapened". Thanks Mr Minit for your reply. I took my shoes back and the staff changed the colour of the thread partially to white. It's still obvious but an improvement from before.

I *was* a loyal customer of Hugo and his team at Holland V outlet. I had been with them since Hougang Mall days. I even wrote a positive feedback (with a diff google account) on having my Chanel bag washed. But a trivial incident had shaken me that I’ll never visit them anymore. Trust has been broken and they don’t seem to be reliable at all. I recently took my Tod shoes for washing of the leather and gluing of the in-soles. When I wore it to office since last week, I found out that the soles were loose and subsequently came off today which I whatsapped Hugo about it. 1. He claimed that my shoes insoles never had glue to begin with and hence he didn’t see a need to do so (despite me paying for it) I showed him how there was glue residue beneath which contradicts what he said. 2. He then claimed that his staff, MJ, didn’t inform him properly. That’s not true, I know the both of them. Hugo was the one who took my shoes as MJ was back in Malaysia then. 3. He said that he got confused, since I brought this pair of shoes to him twice. No - I had only brought this pair to him this once. 4. With so many inconsistencies, I doubt he knows what he is saying or remembering. And since he told me to visit another shop instead, I requested for a refund of money for a service he didn’t provide. He then denied responsibility (when he admitted that he had overlooked earlier) and quoted me whatever Mister Minit policy. Ok, I guess shockingly, Mister Minit has a policy that customers should be charged for service they don’t receive at all?! But wait - here is the part that ANGERED me the most - Hugo actually sent me pictures that made me feel extremely uncomfortable of his family’s funeral and MJ being injured in an accident. I’ll respect their privacy and not share the screenshots here. What’s the purpose of that?!? To be honest, I’m not sure what this whole thing is about. Just apologise and move on, it’s not necessary to blame and share untruths, and even trying to guilt-trip me. Over this minor incident, I realised how Hugo wouldn’t take responsibility when something goes wrong - it’s just contradict and blame. By doing so, I’m not sure if I could ever trust Holland V outlet again. That being said, I do not think it is unreasonable to request for a partial refund for a service which I did not receive (and no longer want to receive from the way I was being treated + he told me to go to another shop). Since he is adamant that I should be charged - see point 5, I don’t wish to argue and told him to keep the money in the end. And oh, I took the shoes to Mister Minit at Esplanade MRT after work. I was charged HALF the price after they heard how horrifying Holland V service was. This was even when I told him to just charge me the full price since I know they’re just franchise and not related. Initially he told me $3, I passed $10 (original price) and he charged me $5. ☺️ He confirmed that Hugo did not glue the insole at all, and this pair of shoes would have to be glued (see point 1). It was an honest mistake at Holland V, yes. But by coming up with blames and flip-flopping, Hugo lost a lot of goodwill from a customer who had supported him throughout. I remember deliberately taking a lot of my Ferragamo shoes / Chanel bags for cleaning right after the Circuit Breaker period to show him my support. Disappointing - you just need this one-off situation to really ruin it all. ? But hey I will go to Esplanade MRT’s Mister Minit outlet in future instead. Bye!
