★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brought my bunny after one of his paw nail dropped out....Thank you to all the ladies working in Paws N Claws. Especially Dr Esther for being professional, gentle and patient. Her explanation is clear and precise, she listens to my concerns & address it accordingly. I also want to thank Cherie for being so kind to share her bunny experience and inform me of where I can get help in future. She also did a follow up check on my bunny. The kind human touch definitely makes a difference to my pet and a consolation to me. Appreciate for everything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Usual vet was closed on that day so I decided to bring my dog who had dental issues to this clinic. Firstly, staff were very friendly and polite to both owners and pets. Secondly, pet weighing scale had a towel on top which made most dogs I saw there more comfortable with having their weight taken.
However, CLINIC IS DEFINITELY NOT FEAR FREE. I do appreciate the staff TRYING to make the clinic fear free but definitely needs improvement.
Firstly, when I was told that it would be a “contactless consultation” meaning that only my dog would be able to see the vet and the vet will then call me to explain the situation/diagnosis etc. I understand the need for special precautions because we’re in the middle of a pandemic and no one likes to get sick. But you’re asking me to put my dog in the care of someone I’ve never even seen or talked to before? If this wasn’t my first time at this clinic and I’ve seen the vet multiple times, I’ll probably have the trust to leave my dog to the vet alone. I requested to just stand from a far or just take a peek while the vet is looking at my dog, but all requests were rejected. I was only allowed into the consultation room to put my dog in and that’s all.
Secondly, when my dog was in the consultation room, there was a point where he was left alone. He started scratching the door and barking, CLEARLY IN DISTRESS. You call this a fear free clinic?! If my dog were to get injured by scratching the door, whose responsibility is it?
Thirdly, after consultation, vet told me my dog needed some extractions and dental scaling and asked me if I would like to to proceed. To which I said I needed to check and discuss with my partner who was at work and that i would update the clinic the next day. I even cracked a joke and said I have to ask my partner because he’s my “finance minister”. All 3 nurses who were at the counter laughed. So I’m sure all 3 nurses heard what I said. I was then told to take a seat and wait for the bill/Medication. So I waited for the bill. And waited. AND WAITED. Until I got annoyed and asked on the status. To my horror, the nurse told me they were waiting for my reply if I wanted to proceed with the dental scaling. Didn’t I make it clear enough that I was going to update them tomorrow already?
In conclusion, this clinic is absolutely terrible. Fear free is definitely not true, communication is also lacking. I can only commend on the friendliness of the staff.
FYI, I was not the only “customer” complaining about their service. Another lady with a dog was very very unhappy about their service as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Couldn’t be more appreciative of this wonderful team! While covid restrictions meant only my cat could meet Dr Esther in person (pet owners stay at reception), she was thorough, systematic and patient with addressing each of our concerns and explaining treatment options over the phone. My typically skittish cat was calm and cooperative throughout.
Special thanks to vet nurses Daniel and Jackie, who visibly enjoy the animals they work with and were themselves highly knowledgeable and thoughtful. They took time to go through a breakdown of the bill very early on, and allowed us ample time and space to make decisions about which procedures we wanted. They also provided fantastic follow-up care after the surgery.
Would not hesitate to bring my cats back here, even if we no longer stay nearby in future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chose to bring my dog in for an urgent surgery (she had pyometra) after reading the reviews about Dr Esther. Although Dr Esther wasn't in that day, she came in to do the surgery which was very kind of her. I got updates about my dog, before, during and after the surgery, which gave me a peace of mind, and they even sent pictures and videos through their Whatsapp (This is the first clinic that I know of that has a Whatsapp account, it makes contacting them easier). The surgery was a success and my dog has healed really well. The stichup was well done and now there's no visible scar at all.
Im glad I brought my dog here. The nurses were great too! The nurse, Daniel explained the after-surgery care procedures really patiently and well, and only at the end of that, did he explain to me the breakdown of the bill. It is not a transactional place, which is great. Overall, a great team and experience! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was trying to find a vet that take in Hamster with reasonable pricing urgently as my hamster abscess ruptured, a specialist quoted us 1.2K++ and we have to wait a week to arrange the surgery, while we get the surgery done at Paws and Claws at 1/4 of the price and they arranged the surgery immediately, both the doctor (Dr Esther for us) and the assistance are very knowledgeable and helpful, they follow up with us closely after the surgery too to check on our hamster and very responsive via their whatsapp number. Our Hamster is now recovering and more active than usual!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend! Anxiously called in to book an appointment on New Year Eve. Despite being fully booked, Dr Esther suggests to bring my dog down and is able to do a same day surgery if necessary.
Dr Esther and her team were clear on the lump removal procedure, what to expect and took time to explain the risks involved.
Surgery went very well and the team even checks up on my dog's condition post surgery - on New Year's Day.
Thanks for everything, much appreciated!
