Animal World Veterinary Clinic - 16 Yio Chu Kang Rd

Dr Chia is very patient and thorough with his explanation, which is helpful for pet owners. He was also ready to answer my further questions over the phone 1.5 weeks after visiting. I would recommend Animal World to any pet owner.

Our dog Jiejie has been coming here frequently for one month since being diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease. Dr Averyl is very detailed in her diagnosis and is patient in answering any questions we had. With her help, Jiejie's condition improved and she's been feeling better than ever. Dr Averyl knows what tests to do and any meds that Jiejie will need to feel better. Also, she is always punctual in the morning so waiting time is very minimal with our appointments.The team has been welcoming and is gentle when handling her. The older and more experienced receptionists are very responsive and does things with certainty. Thank you guys for making Jiejie feel better :)

Sunny the receptionist was an absolute nightmare to work with. She left me with a lot of frustration. Perhaps animal world can look into re-training their staff. Sunny is not service oriented at all and has no intentions to build positive rapports with customers. She answers the phone like it’s her personal mobile. I received a miss call from the clinic and called back. Sunny replied ‘nobody called you’ and then later changed her mind and said ‘wait the doctor called you’. I don’t understand why Sunny was not able to apply basic customer service mannerism by introducing the clinic’s name when answering the phone. Even more surprised how she can get away with this all the time. I’ve been very unfortunate at this clinic as one of the doctors has also misdiagnosed my pet with bronchitis and nobody has gotten back after 3 weeks to update on the status. Such complacent service. Their first point of contact being the dreadful Sunny has promised to look into this matter within the 3 weeks and yet I received no updates. I had to call in to find out about the inaccurate report. Sunny’s excuse was the doctors and clinic are very busy and should I want to be attended, I should call in. This was the same lady who was responsible to find out more about the inaccurate report. Sunny too had the audacity to ask me if it was me who has diagnosed my pet with bronchitis as none of the doctors claim that it’s them. Mind you, it was them who wrote the report. I felt that as an animal world staff, Sunny was not assisting the doctors but instead adding in complications. As a pet owner, I was very worried. I was left hanging by animal world with an inaccurate report on my pet’s health. I understand that mistakes can happen but would really appreciate a prompt follow up. I received no further calls from any doctors regarding this mistake and was annoyed I had to be attended by Sunny who doesn’t know what she’s talking about. If you can dodge Sunny’s poor service, I can guarantee that you would have a much better experience than I did at Animal World. I am horrified that someone who lacks professionalism, has poor mannerism and zero customer service traits is allowed to work at the front desk. I am appalled by Sunny’s rudeness. Voted worse receptionist I’ve ever come across in my life. Sunny can’t even differentiate between a he/she. Calling a certain male Dr Jan sen a she. A 5 year old has better mannerism and knowledge than her. The service provided by Sunny and the doctors’ sloppy work is UNACCEPTABLE. Should you read through the reviews, there seems to be a great inconsistency with animal world service. To avoid frustration, probably better off to take your pet to a different clinic. My intention in writing this long review on Sunny is not out to get her but to urge Animal World to really look into this. There are other negative reviews here that have highlighted on Sunny’s negative attitude.

Dr Averyl and the staffs here are very friendly and helpful. Dr Averyl is very caring and patience. She will always patiently clears my doubt with my dog. The price here is also reasonable. Highly recommended.

The vet are very friendly and attending our question as a first time let owner. Also did call them again to find out more as I forgot how to explain to my partner what’s wrong with our pet, they did answer my calls after a 2nd call from them as I understand they might be busy, after they answer the call, the reception is also very nice and help us find the vet and later explain nicely again to my partners what’s wrong with our pet. Their service and medicine can be expansive but their service so far is good.

Brought my puppy down for a medical checkup, doctor Averyl was very patient and understanding. Receptionists were also very nice and even took the time to divide my pup's medicine into many capsules as she is a small dog. Would recommend for anyone looking for a vet :)

I'm a first time pet owner. My family adopted 2 short hair kittens (siblings). We were recommended by the rescuer to Animal World. We made 3 visits so far, 2 for vaccinations and 1 for sterilisation. I really like their genuine care and concern for my kittens, their patience in explaining caring for them, and I was wow'ed when they go their way out to show their appreciation to me in adopting my kittens. Their professionalism really help us as first time owners. ??

Bought my shih tzu there a few times. Price was reasonable as compared to other vet's that we went . Dr Philippa Spellman was very skilled & professional. All thanks to her that my dog was recovering well. Sunny & her team mates were friendly & patient . I would highly recommend them to friends. Appreciate your time & big thank you !:)) Awesome services !!!
