β β β β β Just collected my jumper from Presto Ion after sending it for dry clean on Monday. Service rendered was excellent. Linda was very helpful and courteous. I will definately visit this outlet for future laundry service. ??

β β β β β Extremely bad service, I never see a wash and full service where they donβt separate the clothes... they put all together and all my white clothes come up dirty because of course if you wash colors, black and white together it destroy your clothes if they explain before I would pay more or of course do it myself e because I would do it better.
End up losing around 250 dollars in clothes, please keep away from this store, I try to be back and they just say sorry, not offering a Brightening service or nothing.

β β β β β Hi all, I would like to seek help as Presto has shunned all responsibility on damages of my item.
I sent in a thick wool cardigan end of May.
Had 2 detachable fur patches in front of the pocket as embellishments. Asked if it can be done and after a bit of pondering by Linda, she replied it can be sent it together. Please note the fur patch was as good as new, I had bought item from Japan 6 months ago ago, wore it less than 5 times. Wanted to stow it in a fresh condition for a few months till autumn cooler weather comes when I go back to Japan again.
Collected and back home when I opened to check closely, the detachable fur patches were a lot less fluffy then I had sent it in, with a square shaped indentations/flattening in the centre. The fur end tips were frizzled, looked like hair that were tangled up/subjected to heat/force. I had no idea and shocked how it could happen.
Please note while Linda had not been rude to me, this is not the issue. Went back again to ask what can be done to restore item. She suggests sending it back. I asked to relay the message to office to call me before doing anything because I am afraid it will be made worse. No reply, I had to call Linda almost 10 days later to ask how is it. She saya item is back, better. I am not sure if she had opened the bag to check if it was better when she received the item from factory. I came down again to find it almost worse then before. It was more rough and more ends were frizzled. Linda and another lady altering clothes at the side had no answers or excuses as well as it can be felt and seen. Had no other choice to write in to Presto.
I had entitled email to Managerβs attention. However reply had no name from who wrote it. Iβm not sure how they concluded in my fairness when the people in office had not seen or touched the item for themselves. The fur ends are fine and it is hard to capture a good photo. I had expected them to request to see item. Their reply:
We have concluded our investigations and we hope you understand that there are some issues which are not within the controls of our dry cleaning & laundry processes such as the weakening of the fabric due to wear and tear, wearing habits due to the user's behavior, manufacturing defects of the garment and fabric's conditions prior to processing.
Upon receiving your item from our ION Outlet for a redo due to the issue which you have raised about the fur pads being flat, we did some refinishing touches, however, the refinishing was not able to restore the fur to the standard acceptable to you.
As a professional dry cleaner, we have handled and cleaned many fur products with no impact to the look and feel of the item. Because of this, we have no reason to suspect that this fur would perform unsatisfactorily to our standard cleaning processes. As such, based on our investigation, we have reasons to believe that this may be due to that the fur material chosen by the item manufacturer being unable to withstand the standard dry cleaning procedures. Due to this reason, we will not be able to provide compensation for this matter and we will advise you to go to the original retailer where you purchased this item to raise a dispute.

I cherish the item very dearly.
To say you have handled many items doesnβt mean you have handled them well, and that you will never make mistakes.
All I need from a launderer was my item back in original condition like how I sent it in. There is no point in making several trips down to your nice store front in a mall with a nice lady in front to come home to item damaged twice with no reply or such handling from the people who damaged it.
Since they do not even acknowledge their mistake much less help me to restore my item, I would like to ask if anyone has any remedies on my item, and on this issue.

β β β β β It was my first time sending items to a dry-cleaner and researched for a good month before I made my decision to patronise Presto at their outlet located in ION Orchard. The staff that attended to me took my requests into consideration and listed each item in detail (type, colour, brand). I was able to collect my garments a day earlier than the given date and I was super pleased at the job that Presto has done! My slacks look even better than they did when I bought them, and all my buttons are well intact without a single loose thread. Thank you Presto! I know who I can count on whenever I need my clothing dry-cleaned/pressed! :)

β β β β β They advertise pickup and delivery but they don't take credit cards (!!) and the online scheduling system is anything but: not only you don't get an email confirmation, but someone later manually processes the "request" and either rejects or accepts it (!!). A quaint 1998-style system in 2022 ?
