Q & M Dental Centre (Jurong East - Jem)

Long waiting time of at least 45min despite being punctual. The specialist Dr is usually late for my morning bookings (usually over half n hr) which was honestly q frustrating and unprofessional as i have my own commitments too.

Dentist - Dr Thomas Huang was very nice and understood I had anxiety re: wisdom teeth extraction. He did the procedure quickly and ensured I had as little discomfort as possible, even under LA. The nurses and counter staff were nice and helpful too. Doctor and nurses were knowledgeable and patient when explaining the fees and claiming of medisave. Really appreciate the service!

Unprofessional and irresponsible treatment. Had teeth cleaning done at this clinic in early Jan 2021. I mentioned to the dentist about a grey area in my premolars which could be a sign of a cavity. He took x ray for me on both sides (including the unaffected side). Unfortunately, the X-ray on the affected side with the grey area was not positioned well and the problematic grey area lies right on the edge of the x-ray. He re-assured me that the tooth looked fine and will monitor it on a half yearly basis. 1.5 months later, I visited a different dental clinic for different procedure and was advised that the affected area was a cavity and require some filling work. What Q&M shld have done when they realized that the x-ray was poorly taken is to take another proper one immediately. In that way, not only would I have avoided wasting money on useless x-rays, my cavity wouldn't have grown in size. Please review your clinical protocols! I haven't even complained about the long waiting times even with appointment.

First time visited the clinic. Location is very convenient. Staff were quite friendly. Went for scaling and polishing which cost about $109 for about 20mins.

This is the second Q&M dental clinic that our family has tried. First one in Boon Lay Mrt, my son didn’t feel comfortable with the dentist. He said the dentist was too rough. So I tried this location in Jem, because of the many great reviews. I was excited at first because I got Dr Chiu, who had a lot of positive reviews. Positive feedback: my simple filling procedure was done well and very quick. I felt Dr. Chiu was a caring and understanding dentist. The dental assistant was also nice. My negative feedback: I felt like they were stabbing my frenulum with the instrument used for the saliva? It was so rough! I really complained, but they didn’t say anything. I’ve been to dentists in different countries, I’ve never felt the instrument in my mouth as much as in this clinic! Is it too big? I’m talking about the body of the instrument and not the tip of what’s used for cleaning. (I don’t know the technical terms. Overall I was very upset with my experience in this clinic. The reception was very kind and recommended I get membership, but told her I will never come back. ??????????????????

Today was probably the worst experience I walked out of this clinic without any procedure done! Hv been with this clinic for the past two years for my wisdom tooth extractions, crowning and treatment my gum recede/gum periodontitis. At least a quarterly visit for deep cleansing. Late. By me asking the review I am making him upset and ill year dentist has recommended to go for the gum surgery as he has not seen much improvement since and it takes about 2 to 4 surgeries to complete the whole procedure which I hv gone ahead for my upper left jaw operated last July. There was no review after the unstitched two weeks after the surgery . Thus before I proceed with the 2nd surgery on my lower gum jaw, today I asked for a review if the 1st procedure has improved. The dentist was somewhat take very offended saying that his focus today is to have the procedure done not focusing on other parts of me? I am like why?I am curious to know and I HV the rights to know as a patient or as a patron of your clinic. Dr Ee said that I am distracting him and make him loose focus on the procedure. He was upset of me requesting for a review done prior to the procedure which I told him the thoughts of me going through the tremors of throthe anesthetic and all worries me if there no improvement then perhaps we should not continue. He then ask if I want to proceed which although I am abit reluctant I still told him to proceed. While he was administering the anesthetic on me he told me one should not be multitasking and my ask is putting him at risk to lost focus! I was like huh as a profession how can u word in such and that Iam a consumer , I am your patient you should put me at ease by having a post review it will definitely help to mitigate my nervousness but yet you are comparing your compassionate against NUH dentistry. Duhh that's a reason we are paying for a private clinic like Q&M. If you cannot multitask in today world in Singapore perhaps you should do a self examine and perhaps you need to review your consultation process!But please I am paying for a service including consulting I would expect a professional service to be render!

Did my dental cleaning and wisdom tooth extraction with Dr Huang Ting Hsiang. While the cleaning was painful, that's on me for not visiting the dentist for over a decade. But Dr Huang did a very good job and I'm very proud of how my clean my teeth were after! The extraction was smooth and my recovery has been going very well. I was very scared that i would not recover fast. But there has been no pain and swelling the day after the surgery! I even managed to get back to work the next day. Very happy with the whole process!

Just had a filling done with Dr Jonathan Ee, really amazing work! Very comfortable through the entire procedure. Thanks ?
