If this allow me to choose no star, I would definitely do it! I would like to request for a blood test, just to make sure I don’t have any other infections. I have no idea about blood test, so you might think that I am asking stupid questions. I am a patient and you are the nurse in the Raffles Emergency, you should have telling me and advise me instead of rolling eyes with that impatient look! Her name is Liew Yan Yee, I don’t know why such people can work under one of the best hospital in Singapore! I know such feedback might not be effective enough to change anything, but just hope that people with attitude problem like her shouldn’t be working for hospital.

I fell and hurt myself quite badly on Saturday evening. My cuts were deep especially on one hand and I was bleeding profusely. When I reached the Accident & Emergency unit of the hospital, I was attended to immediately by a helpful, young, smiling and cheery receptionist. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name, she had short hair and black-framed glasses and made a great first impression despite the fact that it was a Saturday evening close to 10pm. I was surprised to be attended to so quickly within 10 minutes, probably because I looked like an extra from The Walking Dead with ripped clothing from the fall impact and was covered with blood on almost every limb. The doctor attending to me - Mr Chnrg was very patient and professional and careful when handling my open wounds and deep cuts which were filled with granite and road debris. Another young doctor came over and he was very friendly, cheery and even cracked a joke to lighten spirits. My wounds were cleaned up, disinfected and dressed, expertly and very carefully by Mr Chnrg. He was very knowledgeable about the different layers of affected skin and the healing process. I am very happy that I sought professional help from Mr Chnrg and the on-duty doctor. Amazing service from the receptionist to the healthcare professionals! This is my second time visiting the A&E and I hope I won't have to do come here again but if you have an emergency, you can be assured to be in good hands at Raffles Hospital.

For the money you pay here as a private patient the staff are really unfriendly

This is specifically written for my pre-departure PCR swab test experience at the A&E. Very efficient and helpful - you can book your appointments on the app, or hotline. And if urgent, you can head directly to the A&E without appointment for the travel PCR test. I visited on weekday mid afternoon and the total wait was only 20-30 mins. The test result was provided by the app, singhealth, and email within 12 hours for me (they said can be up to 24 hours). For $169, this is a place I would recommend if you need a pre-departure test done.

If you wanna sit on a chair outdoors for 2 hours with a high fever with no doctor in sight, have no one register you for half an hour, get cut in queue by people cause there's no queue system. This is the place to be ?

Very interesting place! Went there because of stomach pains around midnight. Doctor advised the ultrasound scan to confirm there is no major issues, and here is where the surprise came! Turned out, there is no ultrasound specialist around because it’s “too late” (doesn’t matter they advertise themselves as 24 hours A&E!), and they needed to call this specialist from home. We decided to proceed with this, since it’s been quite concerning condition, but ended up waiting almost 1.5 hours for ultrasound specialist to come and we had to pay 700$ “on-call charge”, which wasn’t covered by the insurance. Basically, if it’s life and death question, patient can end up dying in so-called “A&E”, just because somebody is not there and had to travel from home. I have never seen such horrible things in any other hospital.

Terrible experience! DS had very high fever almost 40.5 and was increasing inspite of taking 2 paracetamols. The receptionist who claimed to be a nurse said she had informed doctor then another nurse when called after half an hour says we will let him Know once he finishes seeing the current patient!! Absolutely no sense of any empathy. They even stopped picking out calls as we really were requesting for help!!! Waited for more than one hour with continuous sponging son! Later had to rush to parkway where he wa attended to!
