Best Japanese restaurant in Singapore

Ordered the salmon shashimi, tamago, chawamushi, WAGYU and foie gra and uni sushi, grilled Hamachi and a sukiyaki. All the dishes were pretty solid. Shashimi, wagyu and uni were very fresh. Wanted to order the grilled tenderloin but it was out of stock. Atmosphere is quaint and service was good. Prices were very reasonable as well. Would come back here again but have to reserve months in advance.

The seating is very comfortable and quite privacy, not pack seating like typical restaurants in Singapore. The ambience is comfortable and food is serve quite fast. It's better to have reservation to dine in, else the wait time can be up to 2 hours.

Definitely the price is a little steep but it’s worth going once in awhile if you like your taste bud to have some fun! Enjoyed my experience and services. Kudos! But one thing we realise that the food wasn’t serve pipping hot.

The restaurant’s classy, yet cosy ambience is complemented by a warm and courteous team led by Tommy, whose down-to-earth friendly demeanour enhances the dining experience. The experience never fails to bring me fond memories of Japan, and is certainly one of the best places you can possibly dine and enjoy an immersive experience when one is home-bound given the current travel restrictions due to the pandemic. Given the variety and freshness, as well as excellent pricing strategy, the restaurant is extremely popular. So, I would recommend that advance reservations are an absolute necessity.

Must make reservation at least weeks before going down. We were lucky to get a table during a weekday late lunch after a 45min waiting time. Impeccable service and very good quality food. Food were well presented. Very likely to return to dine again, but of course need to arrange reservation weeks ahead to avoid disappointment.
