Drink are charge $1 before taxes per glass... staff are attentive.. overall...have a good dinner there..

โ โ โ โ โ Decent shabu buffet at reasonable price. Paid $16.99++ for lunch, without beef option and add on $2.50 for drinks + ice cream.
You can get 2 soup base out of their 6 selections. Ingredients are fresh. Pot took awhile to heat up on 1 side and require some turning. I found the high heat tends to make the clear soup turns cloudy fast and make it looks less appealing.
Time is limited to 70mins. Fast services and staff will gently remind you when nearing the dining time limit. I was having my ice cream when the time is up but staff was kind enough not to rush or chase us off.

โ โ โ โ โ Price is good. Speed of service moderate, although reliability of getting attention of staff is reduced due to the large volume of customers. Food is ok. The new online ordering system is cumbersome, can be improved. Would recommend for those who want to satisfy their hunger at a moderate price range.

โ โ โ โ โ Just finished my lunch here. Rate 2 star due to the nice food, if rate by service, not even one star. Of course not all staff, but a lady without name tag, the attitude is very rude, I accept the rules of the restaurant, however, the staff should explain clearly. It is not kind of Japanese restaurant service standard. Would not come again and strongly recommend friends not to come.

โ โ โ โ โ The last time I had shabu sai was last yr. The standard seems to have improved a lot. The shoyu soup is much less salty, the ingredients were fresh. The beef and pork were all good for the weekday dinner price. Service is excellent and efficient. Even before I could submit my form, the waiter already saw the number of plates of meat I am ordering and served immediately. I enjoyed my meal.

โ โ โ โ โ Paid $54 nett for 2 pax lunch with free flow beef. The beef quality was better than I expected. The pork belly was good. Staff were polite and helpful. But definitely the price has increased quite dramatically high and ala carte drinks $1/cup.
Ate 20 plates of beef and 2 plates of pork belly ?
