★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the bakery and coffee shop at the Shangri-La orchard, located in the main lobby. Has a good selection of bakery items and cakes, also offering a small range of quite bites such as takeaway salads. Staff were very friendly and helpful during my visit. The only downside it's slightly expensive, not really unexpected for a 5 star hotel though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered a 3d customised cake for my girl’s birthday. While the design looks cute, the texture of the cake was horrendously dry and lacking of taste. Was rather disappointed with the standard that you guys can produce especially from a 5 stars hotel.. To be very honest, many other neighbourhood cake shops out there can produce a much better fondant cake that is more moist and flavourful. The guests couldn't even take a 2nd bite of the cake and we ended up throwing the whole cake into the bin. What a waste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered a blackforest cake, you can see that the design on the cake is unprofessionally made. Worse service ever. Look at the cherrie stain on the cream for a five star hotel standard. Lousy. Had to come up with an alternative design for them on the next order. The chef is incompetant. sub standrad. Normal baker doesn't leave stain on the cream and doesnt use can cherries on top of the cream.

Conveniently located in the Shangri-la Hotel with regular shuttle bus to Orchard MRT. Friendly attentive cosy ambience for romantic intimates groups students tourists expats locals visitors and families.
