β β β β β Went there with my daughter and had sight food poisoning after eating on 26 june. Their scallop lip was slimy. Hot water was down and i had to ask 4 times before getting a top up.

β β β β β Absolutely disgusted. Have been waiting for more than 40 minutes and simply because Iβm one person, they invited those who came after me in groups of 2 and 4 and offered them the empty seats while I had to continue to wait indefinitely. Come on you can do better than this canβt you? Treat your customer equally. All the best to your short-sightedness.

β β β β β The sushi at Sushi Express are fast moving and new items are being placed at the surveyor belt quickly. Safe distancing are observed.
We had a friend who's wheelchair bounded and the staff make arrangements for us to allocate a good seat for us.
A male staff named Andy was very friendly to help us take group photos.
In the middle of our meal, he also asked us whether we would like to order any dishes that's not on the surveyor belt. Upon taking the instructions, the kitchen went ahead to prepare for us.
Noted that there's a time limit of 40mins for each visit.
Some items like mochi are able to do takeaway.

β β β β β Very rude & lazy staff, i went in after lunch hour at 3pm plus, there is empty seat with safe distance. Yet this staff in the photo attached arranged me sit near at corner near to cashier & walk way, which i asked to seat somewhere not to close as there is people passing by. She refuse to setup but informed no seat, & donβt know how long is waiting time. To my surprise there is many seats empty for 1 guest or group guest. After spoken to cashier, she politely arranged the seat as my request.
Attached photo u can see that 1m distance is in place yet she refused to let me sit. I want to feedback on this staff in the picture who showing very rude attitude & lazy manner, even the cashier arranged for me she still looked to cashier & signal that i should not sit there

β β β β β It was long queue for dine-in when i visited. I ordered on take-away instead. Took 30 minutes for the sushi ? I ordered to be ready.
Price was ok but too long to get it prepared. The sushi was good and fresh. Eventhought it was long wait but it is still worth it.

β β β β β Convenience and speed were the main positives when having a sushi craving. Service and quality were fine. Interesting to observe how the variety of food items change towards lunch time. Went around 11am plus and choices on the conveyor belt were quite limited to be honest.

Dropped a star as tables were not wiped after each turn over and pieces of food are still present on the chopsticks prepared. Variety of sushi seems to have reduced too.
Affordable Sushi $1.50 per plate! Sushi Express offers a wide range of sushi and desserts. Latest on their menu (Apr'22) is the Thai Milk Tea Cake, a tasty Thai Milk Tea inspired treat after you had your fill of delicious sushi.
Sushi Express is popular amongst students during lunch. It is usually not crowded during lunch time and you can easily get a a seat within 10mins. However, expect a queue btw 15 to 30mins during dinner period.

Editor Note*: It seems the range of sushi does differ abit between outlets. The outlet here at Seletar Mall seems to have more variety. Kudos! ??

β β β β β Quick fix sushi at affordable prices! They charge by number of plates; 1 plate is about $1.5. Exclusive if GST and service charge.
Long queues expected at mealtimes so come early.
You will get directed to a seating when it's your turn. Then you can either take the plates off the conveyor belt, or order some dishes through the service staffs. After you are done, call the service staffs for them to count the number of plates you have consumed. You get an order chit and proceed to make payment at the cashier before leaving the area!
Take note; some plate colours charge at higher prices. So check if you really want them before taking it.
Hot green tea is free (if I recall, might edit if I'm wrong), and you get unlimited refill my pressing your cup against the hot water tap available at every seat.
Taste wise is average. There are better ones out there, but for this price, it is acceptable in my opinion.
Would come to get my sushi quick fix when needed!
