Cosy place with very patient staff like Adil who taught my friend and verify him for belaying. The lunch time weekday promo of $12 is really attractive. However i didnt give a 5 star due to the size.. it is considered small-medium hence quite limited

The rock school tampines hub is a decent place. However, the staff do not seem to notice that people from The Youth Climbing Team can be rather rude when it came to the other climbers' space bubble. The staff were very attentive when it came to ensuring social distancing such that the self belaying walls can only be used alternately (I was informed almost immediately that walls cannot be utilised side by side when I tried to climb beside my daughter since I didnt know the rules initially). But when the climbers from the Youth Climbing Team cuts into the wall from beside and tried to belittle the younger or less experienced climbers not belonging to the club, they dont seem to care. My husband was climbing a wall halfway and one rather grown up guy from the Youth Climbing Team cut into his wall even though my husband politely asked him not to, he chose to ignore him. Another younger girl, around the age of 12-14 started climbing beside the wall of my young daughter and cut into her wall and almost stepped onto her hand but no staff went to stop her strangely. When my daughter was climbing the shorter walls without the harness, halfway through, TWICE, the same guy who cut my husband's wall, asked my daughter to give way because his member was trying to start climbing. Hope the experience will improve the next time and that management can look into the attitudes of these Youth Climbing Team members by reminding them basic manners and spirit of sportsmanship.

Went here for my first climbing experience. My coach (who was younger than me) was very friendly and supporting. She taught me many things about climbing and bouldering, showed me how to do things.. Very helpful. Overall, it's an exciting experience! The price is $28 for 1 hour (for beginner)

Been climbing at Tamp Hub for the past 2-3 years on and off, I mainly climb with the auto belaying system as well as the high walls. Some of the routes are poorly designed, challenging your ability to reach rather than your climbing techniques. For beginners: If you are at least 170cm most routes are easily clearable. There also isn't a lot of technique involved. The gym is generally quite crowded, which is slightly dangerous especially when kids like to run around, and parents just sit by the side using their phones. Be careful when descending on auto belay walls (most of them are at the corners - near the benches).

Decided to come and try climbing exploration as sponsored by my company. It was my first time. Trainer Ms Saf was very patient and polite. Just bought the 5 session package again as the previous one I had expired. Will come again if there's time.

It is easy to book a class directly or through ClassPass. The gym was filled with kids when we went on a weekend. It was much quieter on a Friday evening. There seemed to be more people doing bouldering as compared to rockclimbing. The coaches were young and friendly. The Climbing Exploration class is more of a session where you can climb freely with the coach as belayer. If you wish to pick up new techniques, go for the ClimbFIT Fundamental.

Did my 2nd fundamentals class with instructor Vincent today and really starting to get the hang of the basic techniques. Vincent is a great teacher who is really passionate and takes the effort to spot your mistakes and guide you. Highly recommended place to get your beginner rock climbing skills done right!

I had an enjoyable time learning to climb together with my friend after a long long time. We started with the easier walls then we slowly progress to the challenging ones. I was very anxious at first but our instructor (mid length hair with a goatie) was very patient and assuring. Thank you so much! ??
