Super disappointed when I opened my cake box to a wrong cake!!! Even after the staff clarified TWICE…. I said “can I have a strawberry milk cake” the staff clarified two times “strawberry milk ah?” But when I got home and opened it was the wrong cake… WHAT IF THIS WAS MY LAST STRAW??????? How can u not know the products when u work there….

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! DO NOT COME HERE TO BUY CAKE! Went to the shop and took a glance on the cake display area then went ahead to queue behind another customer which was near the cashier counter area. It wasn't my turn yet and there were another customer in front of me. One of the staff asked me what do I want to get. All I know is I wanted to try the 1st and 2nd hot selling items of the shop. They have labelled the ranking of hot selling item on the cake display. The rude staff asked me to say out the cake name. I repeated myself that I wanted the 1st and 2nd hot selling cake because I don't know the name of the cakes! She insisted that I say out the cakes' name. I went over to the other side near the customer before me and told her that I wanted White Zebra and . The staff then asked out loud, "Cake or tart?". I told her again the cakes' name. She said out louder this time, "Cake or tart?" and I replied "Cake". There are a couple of things for Chateraise NEX to take note: 1. Do not expect your customer to remember and recite the cakes' name without looking at the label! I wasn't even looking at the names attentively since it wasn't my turn yet! 2. Do not expect your customer to know if there's 2 different items with the same name (white zebra cake and white zebra tart (if exist))! Within 10 sec, i can't be glancing through your whole display and able to tell there is another item with the same name! Just give it 2 different names for God sake! 3. Train your staff to know what are the hot selling items! Otherwise, why bother putting hot selling labels if customers can't use those words to describe what they want to buy! Your cakes' name are harder to remember than the words "hot selling item"! 4. You might want to investigate whether all the bad reviews on the Google Reviews are due to the same rude staff. If yes, she definitely have some anger management issue to work on. She is obviously not suitable to work in the service industry with such attitude. With her around, you will be seeing more and more bad reviews! 5. Remember that you are not the only cake shop in Singapore! Bad customer service is worse than bad food! There's always another cake shop!

The dessert/ cakes / ice cream are always good. However the customer service are really bad and the staff are rude and not helpful. Not sure why they can be in service line. Will not come back again and recommend to friends.

Strawberry cake was good, and male cashier was polite. He also double checked my order before packing it.

Came to the NEX outlet to get a birthday cake, today. Was served by a rather rude female Chinese staff (Charlene), and she reached into the display fridge and gave me that. Nevermind that she did decided not to take another from their main fridge. Next, she asked if i needed candles. So I replied her, and next, she abruptly asked me twice by gesturing, “How many?” Oh well, maybe she had a bad day? But the store just opened 5 mins ago though. I could choose to stop my purchase then, but I didn’t want her bad attitude to ruin my day. Perhaps Châteraisé Singapore service can do better by reviewing their staffs from time to time.

I've been supporting the Nex store for years since it's the closest to my house but not anymore! Service has always been average but recently it became worst. The cakes and mochi daifuku were frozen. The salt bean daifuku is one of my fav desserts and I have never encountered a frozen daifuku till now. So I was very surprised and slightly pressed it then the staff just abruptly said "you pressed it you have to buy!". It was ice frozen and I doubt it will leave a dent but the staff insisted I have to buy. The souffle cheesecake was also frozen and cannot be consumed right away. Freaking ridiculous! If your desserts cannot be consumed right away, no point having a physical storefront. Might as well change to online store only. Lesser expectations on service standards and can save your customers time on de-freezing too.

Delicate fruity mini cakes. The star is the white peach one - very peachy, not too sweet. While the strawberry and melon ones have a strong artifical flavour
