Jollibee - Bedok Mall

Tried their Nasi Lemak and rather disappointed with the rice and chilli. But their chicken is still good old classic!

Chicken ? - good. The spicy is actually quite strong spice! Spaghetti ? - sweet and mildly spicy. Beef patty - tastes really pasty and processed.

Same price as McDonald's. Only chickenjoy (and maybe spaghetti) is edible, everything else is bad, just filler just to populate the disappointing menu, taste like plastic / rubber.

Interestingly, this replaces the previous KFC and also of all spots the narrowest walkway in Bedok Mall. Nonetheless, the spicy chicken joy and spaghetti still tasted as good as always. However, just for this first time dining in Bedok Mall branch, the chicken parts are pretty small as compared to many other visits at other branches. Another thing to note is the queue management system which can be better, like a separate queue or notice for dine-in and take-away. Delivery food point should perhaps shift to the other larger dining area. Understandably, the crowd, queue and pick-up control can be quite difficult due to the very tight space there, including mall patrons walking pass by it, unlike many other branches which occupies an actual enclosed outlet.

I like Jollibee but my first experience at Bedok Mall outlet is super disappointing. No such issue at Paya Lebar outlet, which I visited couple times. Jollibee management should just check the cctv what kind of service your staff provided. First I go to the counter waiting to order my food. Nobody serves me, until I asked "can i order?" The staff then re-direct me to order through self-kiosk. I placed my order at 11.16am as you can see on the receipt/image. I waited till around 11.30am, I noticed my food seems to be ready at the collection counter, even though my number wasn't called. I walked over to check. Indeed, it is my order, but incomplete because I ordered set meal, meaning I'm short of my drink/empty cup. (In another image of mine taken at 11.34am.) In addition, cutlery also not provided to me. Despite couple times of "Excuse me" & then "can I have my cup", no one responds to me. Are they all deaf? Even if they are really v busy, they should at least politely say "please hold on a min." One thing for sure is that I will never patronise this outlet in future.

Jollibee, the largest food chain in the Philippines with more than 1100 stores worldwide has arrived at Bedok Mall. For those who haven’t tried Jollibee’s food before, they are known for their Chickenjoy fried chicken, Jolly Spaghetti and Yumburger. It is Yummy, just fried and expect to wait. Jollibee on food delivery platforms GrabFood, FoodPanda and Deliveroo.

Can’t go wrong with Chicken Joy and spaghetti. Food tastes the same as with the other branches but seems like this outlet is more generous with the spaghetti cheese. Glad that there’s now a Jollibee in my area but it will take some serious self control not to eat here regularly

Service was pretty fast when I was there for lunch. There are 2 self ordering machines (Nets/Paylah/QR code only) and 1 ordering counter. There was no queue when I was there. The waiting time for food was less than 5 minutes. There are more tables in the atrium if the tables in the main area are full.
