Child friendly menu. Friendly staff too. Had a hearty lunch at a reasonable price.

Great friday lunch at Nanbantei @ Chinatown Point. Best food and value for money all round. Service and ambient was great. Will be back again soon for more.

We visited this Chinatown Point outlet and ordered their Lunch special just before the happy hours ended at 6.45pm. Yes, we ordered the lunch menu items - Miso Beef Steak Don set and the Yakitori Don set, for dinner. On top of that, we also ordered the Hamachi Kama Shio (Grilled Yellow Tail Collar), Ebi Tempura and Hotate Gai (grilled scallops). We were sitting in front of the Charcoal Grill and the BBQ aroma is really good. It whet our appetite already before we even ordered any food. The Yakitori sticks are very well seasoned and they were served to you immediately after cooking. Hmmm, they go very well with the rice. The Yellow Tail collar is just cooked nicely, tasty and good. However, the Miso Beef is over done and tough and I struggled finishing them. I have tried their Scott’s outlet just before Christmas but I think I like this Chinatown outlet more. This outlet is more accessible, looks clean and not so cramped inside the outlet. I would give this meal a 4.5 stars if not for the tough Miso Beef. Still, the overall experience is good and the staff is also very responsive.

Good taste but too much salt on some skewers, great presentation for Chicken skin. Gyoza taste very good. Ikura don good value, small portion. Pricing reasonable. Overall good experience

My favorite skewers are the 7 peppers chicken wing and mini tomato with pork. The garlic rice is a must have too! Thank you for the nice meal

Personal favourite is Nanbantei's Kurobuta Don!!! Add Truffle $3 to bring you from Earth to Heaven! Been dinning at Nanbantei for years and always always always satisfied. Great service for quality food at decent price and definitely warm and friendly staff! Photos from my regular visits.

Every dish very tasty and very generous portions. Good quality ingredients. Service staffs also very friendly, provides fork and spoon for kid without need to ask. Saturday evening can be a little busy but service still pretty fast.

Staff were very courteous and friendly despite the dinner rush hour. They explained the menu carefully to me since it was my first time and even mentioned that lunch deals are until 645pm. However, hard to get their attention like refilling of teas etc since they are very busy. Food was alright, some were very greasy and salty. The place was quite noisy and smoky because of the open concept kitchen. Seems like many of their patrons are regulars.
