Raffles Medical Compass One - Compass One Mall

After 2 years of being away from Singapore, visited the same clinic today at Compass One. Same old attitude, rude and unfriendly nurses/assistants and low EQ doctor with no empathy for their patients. Not sure what kind of healthcare sustainability is our Government pushing for going forward.

Clinic closes at 9.30pm. Went to this clinic at 8.15pm but was refused registration by the indian nurse at the front counter although i told her im positive covid. Mind you, its 8.15pm not 9.15pm.

Despite being the 5th person in queue when clinic opens, waited more than an hour for a vaccination that is no more than 3 mins. The front desk registration efficiency is very bad even with 3 nurses. Very slow!

First time at this clinic today as they are the only one open at 8.30am on a PH. Was attended to by a Dr Ng who was thorough in his queries and prescribed suitable medication. However what left me perplexed is the lack of crowd control in the clinic. 1. There was no clear signage at all to inform patients where to queue, collect medicine etc. And everyone who came around 9am was just crowding around the counter. 2. Is there a reason why patients were told to wait outside when the clinic was empty and had seats available? End up everyone also crowd outside leaving the clinic empty... 3. Clear communication with patients was sorely lacking. When I asked if my cough syrup was the expectorant or suppressant kind, the counter lady just shrugged and went "I dunno leh." Did Not even suggest to check with the doctor, simply unprofessional.

Two days ago, I went for a consult with this doctor (first room from entrance, sadly I did not get his name). When I told him about my problem, in his exact words, he said, “there is nothing I can do for you and there is nothing any doctor can do for you”. When I prompted him more and asked if I should be referred to a specialist, he once again emphasized that “there is really nothing I can do for you”, and told me to take painkillers and observe. He also did not provide me with painkillers even after I asked the receptionist about it. What kind of response is that? Well guess what? Today I went to another GP, who could actually pinpoint the issue, give me a diagnosis, give me a probable cause, and also provide me with a solution and medication. So what did you mean by “there is nothing any doctor can do for you”? That is obviously not the case. Basically, I paid and spent my precious lunch hour at Raffles Medical just to get a shrug of the shoulder and an “oops too bad”. Also did not give me any piece of mind and had me stressing for an extra two days. Thanks. Absolutely useless. Do yourself a favor and don’t bother coming to this clinic, or maybe request for any other doctor in this clinic.

Visited the clinic today, 4 nurses sitting on the reception desk with no one attending to me when I walked in. When tell them I bring my daughter to see doctor, just reply rudely and tell me off "you need to scan the QR code and get queue number, cannot just apporach the staff, we will call your name soon when is your turn". But for a first time patient to receive such services, service level is absolutely below par considering from such big & establish medical group. Would not recommend this clinic.

I was tested positive, the clinic on website stated closing time is at 530pm however I got there 430pm, the intern didn’t wanna let me in until the nurse said let her in if positive case. Whole process was very fast (unlike waterway point) doctor was kind to give advice. They used to have bad customer service but it’s has improved tremendously, Overall a good experience. Kudos to the awesome team!

I'm trying to some justice for raffles medical compass one. My experiences here so far have always been pleasant. The nurses and doctors are always kind and polite. There may be busy days, and service may not be up to the highest expectations of Singaporens, but the Frontliners here are definitely professional and caring. 5 stars!
