★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly I'm here for the chiffon pandan cakes and Swiss roll take away. For tampopo group's Japanese food I had given up a few years back , back when they still operates in Liang Court. Not that they are super lousy but their standard and price did not fall even on my entry level benchmark. For their chiffon pandan cakes and Swiss roll I must say it's another level. Probably the best in SG . Their Swiss roll have gula melaka jelly in them. The light cream and soft pandan cake are match made in heaven. The other plus point here is to catch up with the old staff of the defunct Dolce and Studios Liang Court Branch whom are really friendly and warm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tampopo is a brand that all Singaporeans will be familiar with. Visit this outlet and they have changed their way of service to tackle the manpower issues. I think it’s great that at least the management is doing something about it. Ordered my via QR code and I have to make the payment via mobile and honestly, overall I think the experience was very smooth and pleasant for sure. Now food! Standard has dropped so much in terms of the taste and the presentation. Hope you guys will be able to find your footing and upgrade on all these little issues.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their kurobuta pork tonkatsu Ramen is like the best that I have tasted. The broth is flavourful yet not overpowering, the katsu is tender and fragrant. Noodles portion is good. I usually match it with a tasty egg and mentaiko. Superb!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice cosy corner was alloted to the 3 of us for dinner. Simple karobuta ramen, a don and some california maki to share. The food was good for its price.
Don't bother about the online payment as they still offer ordering service.

Was craving for ramen but it didn't come with this crispy juicy top grade kurobuta tonkatsu. I mean, who can resist this hunk of meat amirite?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good japanese food. They also have value for money meals (see photos for menus), very reasonably priced. Usually did takeout with grab food to enjoy 20% discount on the menu price. Dined in today and realised the portion was better with miso soup (not available for take out). Able to use CDC vouchers too. Overall enjoyable experience, with the friendly staffs.
