Since the moment I enter I was greeted by the staff really well. The staffs were really attentive to our needs and were really great in terms of service. The xiao long bao were good too. I enjoy the buffet and had a great time :) would def patron again!

Horrible experience there. At first the service was slow, but i assumed it was just lack of staff. Waited very long for my order to come, then the things i ordered didnt even come plus they gave me the wrong things. the plates that was on the table is actually dirty. worst part was when i asked for the bbq plate, i had to wait for 20 mins and asked the staff again for it. Then the staff saw my hands up and yet they still did not come and help. My friend and I was shock when she took the bbq plate from another table to ours. that bbq plate was used already by the previous customer. She did that right infront of us. i was so disgusted that i just wanted to go home and vomit. its so unhygienic!!!!! Least she could do is change the paper or something but no she really just took it from another customer to our area.

No frills hotpot restaurant that is value for money. Ingredients like meat and vegetables are fresh and there is good selection for both. Didn't try the seafood. Service is good. There was some issue with my wife's soup base but the staff apologised sincerely and resolved the issue. Would appreciate if the restaurant can provide metal tongs and ladle for the bbq and hotpot. Remember to bring your own tissues.

Very very good hotpot. The first time i came here it was just a meh experience, but after coming back a few times ive decided to give a 5 star review. If there's an option to give more than 5 i personally would! This hotpot business deserves so much better. Constantly improving with a few new menu items, for example they now have more than just one cake as desserts, alongside with other stuff that i haven't chanced upon the opportunity to try yet.. They also now have a new bbq grill thing, i am not sure if the big table has it but the smaller/counter seats has them and it's definitely refreshing to have both. I have ate at both shi li fang & shabu before and personally to me i think this is the best out of all because it's so darn affordable per pax. The price is very cheap for an all you can eat! if you ate at shi li fang, you'd be paying more for the ala cartes + there are lesser variety. This place has the most variety in their menu compared to both. Very affordable, the quality of the meat is also good for the price that you're paying for. The only meat that i personally did not really like is the chicken, maybe because i overcooked it thats why it was quite tough and dry but ya. Everything else is great. They even have free flow drinks, dessert and fried food like nuggets and fries which is nice. Caters to families with young kids! Their drink variety isnt small also. As someone that does not like fizzy drinks i'm contented with the variety! The broth also has many options for you to choose from, some need to top up a tiny abit but definitely worth the money:). I tried the mala, tom yum and chicken broth before and all 3 is good! However the mala one is spicier than normal and also abit oilier so becareful. Their Service is amazing also. Everyone there is super friendly, always all smiles and they are very fast in serving/catering to your needs. They even told us which is best to be boiled/grilled. One good example is despite our 90mins that came to an end we still wanted the ice cream, one of the ladies there was very nice to help us move to the bigger seats as there were other people that wanted to dine in. Normally other places would chase you out once timer comes to an end but they r very friendly! she even apologized because the potential customers dined elsewhere and she felt bad as she moved us for nothing. Very happy with the service. Recommended/Favourites: Their ice cream is really really phenomenal, i dont know what kind of magic they did with the ice cream but they should go open a dessert place. I tried their Yam, Cookies & cream, Durian and Coconut flavoured IC. All super good. As someone that doesnt really like chocolate, their chocolate ice cream is also really good... Their Mantou with condensed milk is also very very good. Their dumplings/xiao long baos is also very nice. Although u have to cook it urself, it's damn yummy. For the broth i'd recommend the chicken broth to both spicy and non spicy lovers as its just a must have lah. Mala for spicy lovers. Drinks i guess the fruit punch? Best drink one can find. The quality of beef, pork and fish stood out alot to me. It goes super well with the chicken and mala broth. But in general everything there is good so just try it!

Now is phase 2.5 hor all.dabao no dine in, I passed by and saw grilled fish at 9.90, gave a try. After box up n gst is 10.90sgd. Not bad, ordered the grilled garlic fish little spice only. Quite yummy to me. Miss the days having hot pot there... Friendly staff.

Their mala soup is not too bad...but the quality of the ingredients really ruin everything. Experience like this makes me appreciate how much effort NTUC put in to keep our groceries fresh. Even the Coca-cola is not the real deal. Was pretty surprised that this place offer xiao long bao but it turns out to be quite a nightmare. It was so dry that I have to hydrate them with my mala soup. Was quite surprised by the amount of positive comments here...seriously.

The food was average but the service was just TERRIBLE. We started around 1835pm and supposedly everyone is given 90 mins to eat (no one told us that it's strict, in fact most establishments will be okay with extending as long as they aren't full) and that means we were supposed to end by 2005pm. Around 2005pm, my girlfriend went to take some fried mantous from their tray. She was told by a waitress dressed in red that time was up and that we were supposed to leave. She was also told to put the plate of fried mantou down so she literally had to just set the plate down and leave it there (as shown in the picture). I'm not sure what the point of that is, considering that they said they'll just throw the mantous away since they've been removed from the serving tray. Further, the waitress said that she will give us 5 more mins to eat if not she will charge us for any food wastage. Look at the two pictures I have of how empty the restaurant was at the time. I don't understand why it's necessary to threaten us to leave when the restaurant wasn't even full. At the same time, you're basically not giving us any choice by saying that we have to gorge our food in 5 mins or get charged, ESPECIALLY when we only knew about the time restriction at the end when my girlfriend was told to put the mantou down. Honestly speaking, it doesn't even make sense to chase customers away when the restaurant had so much space. This has nothing to do with how much more food can be consumed either, since most people wouldn't be able to eat any more towards the end of their meal. How are we actually supposed to finish whatever we ordered without getting charged for wastage when you don't give us enough time? The average food quality isn't worth the lousy service, really wouldn't spend $30 per pax just for this. Wouldn't recommend at all!
