Healthbridge Family Clinic - 615A Edgefield Plains

My family doc for more than 10yrs. Despite his busy schedule, he always treat all his patients with care. Not rushing during diagnosis/treatment. When my child was still a toddler, she visited him when the clinic was still at Rivervale Mall. He allowed my child to meddle with his workspace everytime! My child would always leave happily with new stickers given by Dr Fong. Now that my child is 11yo, I still bring her to see Dr Fong when she is unwell even though the clinic is further now.

Is damn ridiculous waiting time. I came and registered at 830am and it took me almost 6hrs waiting time which one of the clinic assistant claimed estimated 4 or 5 ahead of me. I supposed they only see 1 patient in every 1hr. Even a polyclinic dont take that long.

This clinic is by far the worst clinic I’ve ever been too. I came to the clinic in the morning and they said they were all full and told me to come back at 1.30pm. Fine. I showed up early at 1pm before the clinic opened at 1.30pm and by 6pm I still hadn’t seen the doctor because they are so ridiculously slow. They just kept asking me to wait and wait and wait even though I am C+ and am suffering from severe headaches, fever, body aches, sore throat, and cough. Siao

Decided to go to this clinic as there were many good reviews for the doctor. But geez the service is indeed as people described. I walked into an empty clinic at 3.30pm (30 mins before closing) and the receptionist told me they were not taking any more patients and asked me to come back at 7pm. I can understand why they would have a last registration time but for this clinic, the poor service seems to be a common occurrence. Won’t be going back, even though i really wanted to see Dr Fong.

Writing a five stars review for Dr. Fong because he deserves it. I've been to the clinic twice with my father to seek advice and perform full body check-up for his chronic issues. Despite the clinic having high volume of patients, Dr. Fong is always calm, collected and patient. It is uncommon to find GP these days who would ask real questions, listens and refrain from prescribing medications unnecessarily. I appreciate his demeanour and compassion as it helped me to soften my attitude towards my father's ignorance and stubbornness. Thank you, Dr. Fong for being a doctor who cares and aims to get his patients off medications. For both visits, I'm fine with the service we received at the clinic as we made appointments beforehand. Waiting time is expected since Dr. Fong is a very thorough doctor who doesn't make quick diagnosis and profit off prescription drugs. Both receptionists always seem to be busy and I can tell they are doing their best to make sure that the administrative side of work is well-taken care of. I hope other patients can be more understanding that working in such a healthcare setting is challenging and there's a limit to a person's capacity to provide service depending on the situation.

Dr Fong is professional, caring and patient first in his work. One can sense his care and diagnosis skill as he try to help each illness you consult him. I have been here several times for yearly health screening although I stayed in East Coast area, and pleased with the service and not to mention the reasonable cost too. Highly recommended ???
