★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn’t enjoy the Original Mazesoba with Char Siew from Kajiken in Hokkaido Marche. The soup had too much pepper. The soba was too soft. The whole dish tasted more like a Chinese dish than a Japanese dish. One of the pork slices was really hard. The rest of the slices seemed like ham with red bits. Tasted like Bak Chor Mee with ham. The dumplings were average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to be one of our go-to places near somerset though the service was not impressive, now it got even worse. Found a big piece of egg shell in my noodles and went to ask the staff. The uncle (local accent, big belly, with black frame glasses) used his hand to grab the eggshell from my bowl and rudely told me it was nothing. His attitude was lousy from the very beginning when we ordered. Will never come back to this place again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thinking it will be the same as the Tg Pagar outlet, food quality here is a bit of a let down. Service was also unfriendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service is lacking, but food is great, ordered taiwan mazesoba & karaage. Added flavoured ajitama, definitely one of my favourites ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Noodles was slightly overcooked and their soup taste more like chicken stock. The female staff has a poor attitude. Unfortunately, this is one of the main killer of business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Already a fan of this restaurant in tanjong pagar branch, but just realize they also hv one in orchard area. This place is more like a foodcourt stall, but taste wise is all the same :)
A bit reminder for you who never tried this mazesoba. Don't forget to add chili oil and vinegar when you take your order! It's a must!! A circle or two is good. The vinegar is not that sour, so don't be afraid! Second, don't forget to ask free rice for you to mix at the end of your meal. Before everything end, when you hv many meats and soupy bowl with no noodle left, add your rice, mix them! You will experience a whole different taste once again! Very wonderful.
Price is slightly cheaper ($1-2) than in tanjong pagar, but you get free flow roasted tea there and not here, so it's all the same.
I'm hoping this will help this place get a better review. So sad it's only at 2 star rating.
