This place was an absolute scam! It cost $4 to make a small key and $8 for a bigger key! We also went to change a car key battery, and it cost $12! I wouldn’t recommend this place at all costs, and there are way better places to go to than this, and probably cheaper.

Having a problem with my shoes and visited them today. The shopkeeper don’t even know what is shoes last and keep on promoting how good he was very irritating! PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND TRAVELING EXPENSES TO THIS STORE !!!

The owner of this shop named John is a ex-shoemaker. Avoid all places at all cost and go to John. He will do a excellent job for you. I highly recommend this person.

Very un ethical person. Please make sure you you have the same tyoe of key, when he make the duplicate for you. If get different type that he said can work. Never trust him. Just don't pay and leave. It happend to me, and when I bring home and it doesn't work he said, my key is not a standard key, Singapore doesn't have this standard. And offer me to do a different key to do duplicate. It is very unethical, he should say that he doesn't have a material for my key, it is better. Please be careful with this guy, look so honest but in the end it is a wolf in disguse.

Don’t put words in your customer’s mouth: I brought a pair of running shoes to John at East Point Mister Minit to have the soles stitched back in late August 2020. It was a decent job done and I was charged $35. The same thing happened to another identical pair of running shoes in end Nov 2020 and I brought it to the same shop. I was served by John again. However, he quoted me $45 after taking a look at it. I pointed out that it was the exact same job he did in Aug 2020 and I paid a lower price. The price list at the counter also listed stitching of shoes at $25-35. He argued that it’ll be stitched all around and no way he would have charged a lower price. I told him I’ll show him the previous pair which was done as he described when I collect the current pair just as proof. Grudgingly I paid the $45. I took photos of the previously repaired shoes, but I didn’t have the receipt. I do keep records of my spending and I checked that I paid $35 in Aug. When I went to collect the shoes 2 days later, John showed me photos that he had to glue the sole back before stitching the sole. Wasn’t that a routine step that should be done in reattachment of outsoles? And I showed him photos of the previous shoes which were stitched up in the exact same manner. But he insisted that no way he charged such a low price. Sensing that it’s not going anywhere, I decided to drop the argument. He simply passed me the shoes. I had brought the shoes in the original shoe box to the shop, as my usual habit is to store my shoes in their original boxes. He opened a few cupboards in the shop and said he couldn’t find. Muttered that he deals with many pairs of shoes a day. His parting words were “If you had passed me the box, I would have kept it.”. I shook my head and walked off with the shoes in a plastic bag. Such is customer service.

So expensive, you may like to go to this uncle at outside tampines mrt station, he charge only $2 for normal key ? ?
