Everything was well balanced, very fresh and Chef Sam was knowledgeable while working quietly in the background as we indulged in our 12th Wedding Anniversary celebrations in a simple, clean and relaxed atmosphere. L	LG Tan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I had Japanese Omakase dinner at Ren Lounge. It was a birthday dinner from him to me. ?It was a great choice! ?? We had the Icho 8-course Omakase. It includes seasonal appetizers, Kani Yuba (crab meat with tofu skin), sashimi, shirai ebi uni (white prawn with sea urchins), sushi, yakimono, miso soup with asari clam and desserts. For the yakimono, we were served grilled cod fish. It was excellently grilled, sweet and tender. The Uni course was also a great delight. It was a mix of Shiro ebi (white prawn), uni (sea urchins), ikura (fish roe) and caviar. We gave it a stir per the chef’s recommendation. ? The portion was just right and the taste was awesome . The sashimi and the sushi were very fresh and tasty too. We enjoyed every course! Well done, Chef!

Particularly enjoyed the conversations with Chef who introduced the dishes as they are served, shared with us aspects of the supply chains, and his life stories. 2nd time here, and will be back for more!
