Very pleasant experience and good customer service !

Happen to pass by the shop late evening and saw there's 40% off so decided to go in and check it out. While trying out the shoes, was informed by the staff that it's 1-for-1, though the promo only indicated up to 40% so as I intend to get one or two to replace my current ones and since it's 1-for-1, so thought good to get 1 for my dad too. Upon payment, was told it's 50% off actually which is different from 1-for-1 in a way coz it means I can get odd number of shoes instead of even number. Never mind on this, since it's on promo so no harm. Then the staff said that coz I bought over certain amount, I can get anything within the range of $15 for free (either 1 or multiple items). Upon reaching home and looking back at the receipt, I realized that I was charged for the free gift and the promo was indicated as member's sales which in the first place I'm not a member of Skechers. Felt extremely cheated and decided to write in to Skechers but been more than a week no response from the company too. I do understand that with the pandemic, business is affected but I think using such unethically method to 'cheat' customer to buy more and then saying item is free but was being charged is really unacceptable and this is my first time in my life I encountered such dishonesty the staff whom attended to us. Well, I can only say this is the first and last time they will have me as their customer and I hope with this, no more other customers will fall into it and please do check properly and ensure the receipt information is correct before leaving though I normally does that but given it's late and I'm rushing to another place to collect stuff thus didn't check.

Nice store with good promotion always and with a concept store opposite the retail. Be prepared to queue to get in when there is on going offers due to social distancing now.

Sketches Lifestyle...many different styles of shoes here. Comfortable and durable quality. My old pair of Skechers lasted more than 2 years.

My mum and I have never bought anything from Skechers but decided to pay your Bugis Junction outlet a visit yesterday since we were in a shopping mood, and she needed new shoes for leisure walks. Initially, we went to the bigger Bugis branch that has alot of Hello Kitty Skechers) and was served by a staff that was rather standoff-ish. She kept repeating there was no size and did not seem bothered to entertain us at all. We ended up not buying anything here. We walked out and realised that there was another (smaller) outlet right in front. We were served by Ellina (according to one of her other staff on duty) and she shared that this smaller outlet is specific to walking / performance footwear. She was also very knowledgeable and efficient, and took the time to entertain my mother who is an old auntie that clearly knows nothing about shoes. Even helped her to try and recommend the best fit to ensure that she'll be comfortable. Thanks to her warm and friendly service, my mother ended up buying two pairs of shoes for herself instead of one. This is definitely the kind of staff to keep and cherish. Thank you Ellina for making my mum's day! :)
