I had my eyebrows trimmed for $5. Overall its pretty neatly done. However, my mother decided to try to get oil seeds removal but was indecisive because the price of this removal is about $600++. The staff told her she would try to remove some of my mother's oil seeds to let her see if its worth the price but ended up numbing over 20 of those bumps at once n then afterwards said she'll charge one removal for $10. Then sugar coat it and tell my mother everything would be $400 (including my $5 eyebrow trimming) because give u discount plus help my mother trim her eyebrows. Still tried to convinced her to get the whole $600++ package since its already $400. But we declined it. So we had to pay $400 at the end of the day. For a simple thing like eye brow trimming, its fine. But if u're looking to do some more costly procedures, go at your own risk. Also its not really as hygienic as i expected it to be. Same razor used on me to be used on my mother was not cleaned before the trimming. Not to mention the table the razor was on has loads of tiny hair everywhere. Wasn't even cleaned before she used it on me. This was at the Toa Payoh outlet.

Totally avoid this place! Been patronising Joyce Nails for years for pedicure. Once the owner change to Zhi, my previous pedi package was brought forward. In the midst of doing last two pedicure, I was being harassed to buy their facial package. Said no many times but I was being pressured so badly till I blindly paid about $1.3K for their facial and pedi (renewal) packages. Less than a month, I totally regretted and decided to cancel. Not been using the packages even a single time. Asked for refund and their PRC staff was so rude and declined to refund. Left with no choice but I have to bring this matter up to CASE.

Toa Payoh Outlet- Very unprofessional service. I was ushered in and noticed the place had undergone a revamp. I had gotten an eyebrow threading package a few years back which was reasonable at the time. This time, I requested for the same which she reluctantly does. Once it's over, I notice some imperfections and tell her to touch them up. She does so begrudgingly. Then she goes over to the payment counter and starts to hard-sell. This is not new as therapists tried doing that the previous few times as well She goes on about my skin this time even though I tell her I'm running late and am averse to any product application on my skin. She insists I buy a package for hundreds, while browsing through a generic services booklet, which is very unprofessional. She is eventually unable to sell me a package. In anger, she writes her name on a business card (posted here), slams the booklet shut and pushes the former my way, visibly angry. As such, I've vowed to never return. They do not know how to properly do threading as they're more equipped to do brow tattoos so I'd advice an Indian beauty parlour that knows their stuff.
