Spring Veterinary Care @ Punggol

So, i brought my cat to this "clinic" because his front paw has issues, like its kinda OBVIOUS that his paw is very abnormal. I went to the Hougang outlet since the Punggol outlet was fully booked for the day. Hence, I went to Hougang and then the "vet" was checking up on my furbaby and literally diagnosed him with nothing. Literally nothing. I know that for sure my cat had some issues on his paw, and the vet told me to get an x ray done on his paw to determine the cause of his Paw problem. And yeah for sure like it made sense, so as standardised, I had to pay for the consultation fee ($45) and then literally gave my cat some painkillers for his weird paw. (total $50) so, the vet gave me an appointment for my cat to get an x ray done. Which was the next day at Punggol. I went there for an x ray to be done and it was a total waste of $80. Because, in the end, the vet literally gave some painkiller medicine and then said nothing was wrong with him. So fed up, and till now, his paw is still weird and we are thinking of bringing him to some other vet who is more professional and precise in what they do.

Front counter staff not friendly and not professional. Made appt personally at clinic the night before, next day was informed appt not log in and considered as walk in! Staff even told me that she is not sure who made the appt for me. ( To be frank, that is their internal matter!) Vet didn’t check for fever or even listen to the lung of my dog for cough. Medicine is pricey (3x)when compared with other clinic!

Good and detail view given by the vets. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Price are reasonable consider the clinic is located in a mall with really high rental price.

Very polite staff and caring vet Dr Joyce. We are happy with our trip here with our doggy for his neutering procedure. Convenient just park at the HDB block beside and walk over according to their instructions.

Our dog was not doing well and we brought him to a vet near Farrer road, was advice to put him sleep..... we decided to visit Dr Tong for advice, she immediately looked thru the records and did some blood test, prescribed medicine, and after 2 months with medication, our dog’s health improved tremendously! He became so active again and appetite grew! Thank you Dr Tong and team for the fantastic service and advice! Highly recommended to visit Spring Vet even though it’s very far for us!

I have been visiting Springs Clinic for the pass 3 yrs. I have a 16yrs old Labrador which is totally blind and it unfortunately has a history of a walking disorder and now due to old age her liver is failing her day by day. Dr Tong and her team were extremely patient and caring to me and Terri. There was so much professional jargon that is being used in the medical world but they adequately explained the conditions in layman terms so that i could understand it better. They even gave us a follow up call to check on Terri condition. They are all extremely dedicated medical professionals! For some reason, terri never once afraid to go to the vet and guess she know that they meant well for her and love her lot. Terri have passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 16yrs and when i break the news to spring team they are as sad as me and they conso me so much that i know that i wasn't alone and terri have been really loved at spring! Highly recommended! :)

Brought in my Bengal, was a bit strapped for cash but explained my situation. I know many vets rarely accept installments so I'm sure we can work something out. Cat had UTI so she offered to drain it's bladder for temporary measure and suggested I go to SPCA. Didn't say much about the actual original procedure. Ok, fine. Be back in ard 2hrs, no exact time. Ard 2hrs later, someone from the clinic called and rudely exclaimed to come and collect my cat. U know, the kinda tone like as if I'm gonna ditch my kitty there after it's sick and troublesome. I was back after 2 and half so hrs. No further briefing after I'm back. Kinda cold atmosphere, not really friendly and casual. Lack compassion and awkward esp in my situation. Sidetrack: SPCA clinic will only take in personal pets from low income households with only government handouts and only really sick strays cos our SPCA schedule was cancelled twice due to more urgent scenarios. And managed to find a place doing few installments.

The receptionist was incredibly rude and unhelpful. What is ridiculous to me is that there is no seating in the vet while waiting, meaning that if it’s not your turn, you have to sit outside in the sun with your sick pet! They can’t give you an estimated time on when your slot is so you can’t leave the outdoor area until your turn is called, else you will miss it! That’s honestly inhumane to the pets. The receptionist with the coloured hair also has a terrible attitude and is not fit for hospitality. She had no compassion towards animals. Super disappointed and disgusted. (their reply on google reviews does not make sense, we are not allowed to wait in the mall and the seating area outside the vet is a two seater IN THE SUN. I understand that I was a walk-in and I was willing to wait the one hour but if you cannot give an ETA on my slot and expect me to wait in the heat with my already sick pet, you might want to question yourself on your veterinary service. If you have no space in the vet for a seating area, maybe have a service where you can you can notify patients when their slot is. Have some compassion. Also, I'm not sure how covid has got to do with this considering that the seats outside are close to each other. A terrible excuse to cover a really terrible establishment that do not care for the well being of their animals. If your nurses are not equipped with hospitality, maybe hire proper receptionists.) If you have any common sense, please do not send your animals here.
